Daughters of the Motherless Gods

In Kashmir, Women Police Streets Taliban-StyleThere is nothing scarier in the world (to me) than fundamentalist women devotees of any one of the motherless male gods. I read this and think of the "women of God" in the Bahamas who several years ago decided by vote that unmarried mothers like me would not have equal protection under constitutional law. Guess I'm lucky they didn't burn my house down. I think of all the churchwomen of this town who attend the hate rallies that local preachers hold, to talk about who their god hates and curses. I believe they would feel comfortable and welcome in the company of these madwomen.
